Firepow 2.0: SoundsGood–But Will It Be Devoid Of Bugs?
Bugs are the bane of software users and all software has bugs.
Microsoft and Mozilla products have bugs and there are loads of forums that are devoted to helping people work around bugs in operating systems word processors web building programs spreadsheets games whatever.
Bugs are just part of the cyber scene.
Will Firepow 2.0 have bugs?
Itll be a world first if it doesnt.
The really important matter is to what extent will its bugs impinge on the productivity of the bloggers who will be using the program?
Obviously we cant know that for sure until we have some handson experience with it and that cant happen for another 6 or 7 days; but we can get inkling if we look back at the performance of the current program.
And how would I rate that?
Id be prepared to say 8 out of 10
Where the current program has fallen down to some extent has not been so much in the number of bugs but in getting on to fixing themnot in getting them fixed once they knew about them but in getting to know about them.
When I joined Firepow some 11 months ago that was more of a problem than it is now. Also in that time the frequency of bug troubles has diminished.
Now this is only assumption and assumptions are always dangerous things to make but to me its pretty clear that a major part of the Firepow rebuild would have been directed at eliminating known bugs.
So my guess is for what its worth that bugs in Firepow 2.0 will not be sufficiently numerous to impinge significantly on the productivity of users.
Its certainly not a concern of mine.
